My Story and Passion for Teaching

My passion for health and fitness developed through my own journey that began in 1992. While finding myself at a point where I needed to make healthy changes in my life, I was frustrated and confused and did not know how to achieve what I was seeking. Through research and perseverance, I introduced healthier eating and fitness into my daily schedule and began to discover a difference in myself, my body and my confidence.  Over time, I pursued my fitness and health knowledge and eventually began teaching fitness classes. Doing so, I realized the true joy I found in helping others and seeing them unfold in their own discoveries. I later began practicing yoga where I discovered stillness and the ability to search deeper within myself. This time and reflection has created a calmness that has deepened my relationship with God, myself and others and changed the way I view life situations. The path I travel is a purposed journey. A journey of opportunity to give joyfully to others, to accept each day with gratitude and to discover the intended lesson in the experiences of life.
